Who does what?
Who does what in your relationship? Or, if you’re just at the start, who will do what?
The Household Checkup gives you as a couple a simple way to look at everything on your plate – making all the unseen things you each do visible, and able to be talked about. This means all those things can be kept in mind for when you’re deciding how you both want things to be in future.
How does it work?
Here’s how it works:
First, you and your partner each complete the Household Checkup, after which you receive a summary of how what you each do around the home (aka household labour) is done in your relationship and how satisfied each partner is with that. It also measures childcare if you have kids or plan on it.
Second, your summary is used as the basis for a series of bite-sized conversations designed to help you get on the same page, appreciate what each person does, and to decide how you want to tackle things in future.
Rest assured, we have tips and tricks for each conversation so you can get to the heart of things while staying calm, cool and collected. In fact, we aim for you to feel closer to one another at the end of the process!
When can we do it?
The paper version of the Household Checkup has been tested, and the online version is under development.
